About

Dr. Adil Manzoor, DO is dually trained in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics. Dr. Manzoor is a New Jersey native and a graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned a B.A. in Cell Biology & Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology at Rutgers University, new Brunswick. After graduating from Rutgers, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an accelerated residency program in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health in 2019. He exhibits a strong passion for expanding affordable healthcare services to everyone and is a strong proponent of transparency in healthcare and health policy. His desire for providing care expands outside of his practice, for he is the founder, a current board member and President of Garden State Street Medicine, INC a non-profit whose mission is to provide free comprehensive mental & healthcare services to the homeless population in New Jersey. Dr. Manzoor believes that Direct Primary Care could be a key mechanism for bringing down healthcare costs and improving health outcomes, especially for those who may have been left without access to medical care because of high deductibles and co-pays. In addition to expanding healthcare services by reducing costs, Dr. Manzoor is passionate about mentoring the next generation of youth. In his free time, Dr. Manzoor writes for local newspapers, blogs, reads voraciously, and hosts a podcast Doctor’s Dilemma. He is also actively learning to play his favorite instrument, the violin.
